Thermography for Dogs and small animals

Identification of injury site

If your pet becomes injured or develops degenerative symptoms, a thermal scan can identify the specific site of injury together with any compensation areas that would cause pain. It assists your veterinarian in their diagnosis and is non-invasive, does not require sedation and is affordable.

Rehabilitation

If your pet has suffered an injury, a thermal scan can not only monitor an injury’s progress but can identify if there are still irregularities in their physiology which would determine whether they should recommence normal activities.

Stress free

Thermal scans are undertaken in the animals’ own environment, no sedation is required and there is no contact with them. It is just like taking photographs of them. So totally stress free for both the owner and the pet.

Types of injuries that can be identified:-

  • Arthritis
  • Ligament and tendon injuries
  • Muscular sprains and tears
  • Infection
  • Spinal abnormalities
